HLV practices at the Igloo in Mt. Laurel generally on Wednesday nights during the Winter season.
For the Spring season, there is generally only one practice before games start.
No other practices in the Spring once games start.
Winter Season:
Varsity typically plays Monday or Friday night games while JV typically plays Sunday nights making every effort to avoid conflicts with travel hockey schedules. Games are played at the following rinks:
The Igloo, Flyers Skate Zone Voorhees, Atlantic City Skate Zone, Pennsauken Skate Zone, Hollydell Ice Arena
Spring Season:
All games are generally played at the Flyers Skate Zone Voorhees Monday thru Thursday.
HLV is a high school ice hockey club.
In general, this means grades 9 thru 12.
However, players may begin participation in the spring season of 8th grade graduating year.
Winter Season:
HLV generally begins practicing in early/mid-October, with games expected to begin the last week of October/early November. Games run through early February for Varsity, with playoffs through the end of February. Games run through late February for JV, with playoffs through mid-March.
Spring Season:
The season generally runs from late April through late June for both Varsity and JV, inclusive of playoffs.
