The Devilhawks Middle School Program

The Devilhawks Middle School program is dedicated to developing the next generation of hockey talent in our community. Open to student-athletes in Grades 5-8, our teams provide a competitive yet supportive environment where players can refine their skills and build lasting chemistry with future teammates at the A and B levels. Competing in the South Jersey Middle School Ice Hockey League, we focus on high-level instruction and game-play that prepares every skater for the transition to High School hockey.

Winter Season

Registration opens August 1st

Season Essentials

Registration: Opens August 1st.
Eligibility: Student-athletes in Grades 5-8.
Sending Schools: Students must live in a town that sends to the Rancocas Valley Regional, Seneca, and Lenape High Schools, as well as home-schooled athletes residing within those districts.

Practice & Home Ice

Weekly Practice: TBD.
Location: Flyers Training Center in Voorhees, NJ.
Focus: Fundamentals, on-ice awareness, and building team chemistry.

Game Days & Playoffs

Levels Offered: HLV anticipates to enter teams at the A and B levels.
Games: Typically one game per week.
The Post-Season: Qualifying teams enter playoffs.

Spring Season

Registration: Opens March 1st.

The Schedule: Designed for the multi-sport athlete—typically one game per week with a single pre-season practice after travel tryouts are finished.

Post-Season: Qualifying teams move on to the Spring Playoffs.

Eligibility: Open to all 5th–7th grade students from our core districts and local home-schoolers.

While we represent the students of our local districts, we are not a school-sponsored or sanctioned athletic program.
